Twin Cities' Christmas Parade entry forms at City Hall

Forms for the Dec. 3 Christmas Parade, to be held in the Twin Cities of Fulton, Ky. and South Fulton, Tenn., sponsored by the Fulton Tourism Commission, are now available at Fulton City Hall during regular business hours. The Christmas Parade will begin at 5 p.m., in South Fulton, using the same line up as has been used for the Banana Festival Parade. Line up will be at 4:15 p.m. from locations off of Broadway in South Fulton, where the route will begin, commencing over onto Commercial Avenue in Fulton, and onto Lake Street in Fulton.

A map will be provided designating parade staging areas, road closures and directions for each category’s staging area.

There is no entry fee but forms must be completed and submitted prior to entry, no later than Friday, Dec. 2 by 2 p.m. No late entries will be accepted.

First and second place trophies will be awarded.

Categories will include large float, mini float, school spirit float, vehicle/ATV, diversified, all that does not apply to the first four categories. All entries must have lights as part of the entry, other than head lights or tail lights on vehicles. There is no theme this year, except for “Christmas.”

Only adults will be allowed to throw candy from entries.
