T.C.M.O. now accepting donations for children’s Christmas shopping trip

November 06, 2018

The Twin Cities Men’s Organization of Fulton and South Fulton, T.C.M.O., is now conducting their final fundraising raffle of the year, for a Predator 4375 portable generator. The drawing will be held Dec. 20. Clay Jones of Fulton was the most recent winner of the raffle for the fire pit.

The service organization’s main project each year is to be able to provide a shopping trip for 30 children in need, 15 from Fulton and 15 from South Fulton. Administrators in Fulton and South Fulton school systems evaluate the eligibility and needs of students and then provide those names to the T.C.M.O. In turn, T.C.M.O. members and other community volunteers assist those children in choosing clothing and personal hygiene items during a shopping trip to Walmart in December.

Depending on the funds available on hand, the T.C.M.O. could spend up to $200 per child. This year’s shopping trip event will be held Dec. 15.

Tax deductible donations may be made to the Twin Cities Men’s Organization by mail at P.O. Box 5052, South Fulton, Tenn. 38257 or contact T.C.M.O. Treasurer Cory Edmison at 270-875-0963, to have a contribution picked up.
