AREA OBITUARIES -- CHARLES SINGLETON
Mr. Charles Singleton, age 90, of Pilot Oak, Ky. passed away at 12:15 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022 at the Spring Creek Nursing Facility in Calloway County.
He was a member of the Baptist faith and had worked as a bus driver for Graves County High School, a car dealer, and a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Singleton of Pilot Oak, K; daughters- Diana (Darrel) Wells of Mayfield, Ky.; Donna (Ronnie) Keeling of Grand Rivers, Ky.; Debbie (Butch) Chiles of Briensburg, Ky.; and Sue Elder of Fancy Farm, Ky.; and a son- Allen J. Singleton of Kevil, Ky; 8 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents- Zellner and Geneva Gossum Singleton; a sister- Virginia Roberts; a brother- Russell Singleton; and two son-in-laws- Joey Elder and David Rodgers.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky. with Rev. Rick Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery, Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at the Brown Funeral Home in Mayfield, Ky. Brown Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Alexander, Kealan Wilson, Nathan Turner, Rick Majors, Patrick Lowery, and John Davidson. Honorary Pallbearers will be James Sullivan, Tim Fields, and Gary Fields.
