TVA IMPOSED BLACKOUT LIFTED FOR FULTON ELECTRIC, AT THIS TIME

Fulton Electric System had been required by TVA to conduct rolling blackouts. Power could have been interrupted throughout the day for up to 30 minutes at one time, throughout the city of Fulton's FES customers. "Fulton Electric System apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates the patience of our customers," said Jeff Wade, FES Business Office Manager. Shortly after that notice was given to Fulton Electric System by TVA, the requirement for rolling blackouts was terminated by TVA. Customers should be alerted that blackouts have the potential to occur, per TVA, throughout the day, but at this point, the previously issued blackout requirement has been lifted.
