AREA OBITUARIES -- MILDRED WIGGINS

Mrs. Mildred Lois Davis Wiggins, age 97, of Sedalia, Ky. passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Jackson Purchase Medical Center ER in Mayfield, Ky.

She was born on July 10, 1925 in Austin Springs, Tenn. to the late Bert Lee Davis and Ruby McClure Davis.

Mildred was a member of the Lynnville Baptist Church, where she was very active member. She had worked for the former Lear Seglier in Union City, Tenn. and the former Fisher Price in Murray, Ky. She also worked for Campbell Tobacco in Mayfield, Ky.

She is survived by a daughter Patricia Gayle (Jerry) Stark of Murray, a son Raymond Keith Collie of Mayfield, two grandchildren: Amanda (Kris) Burnett of Mayfield and Stephanie Reeves of Lynnville, eight great-grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Raymond Fred Collie, Jr, her second husband RB Wiggins, two brothers: Henry Davis and Cecil Davis, two sisters: Mary Bennett and Frances Rushing.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 29, 2022 at the Jackson Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Acree Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Jackson Funeral Home from 11 a.m. Thursday until the hour of service.
