AREA OBITUARIES -- JOYCE HALE SMITH

Mrs. Joyce Hale Smith, age 80, of Fulton, KY passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022 at the Fulton Nursing and Rehab.

She was born on February 16, 1942 in Crutchfield, Ky. to the late Eston Hale and Olive Bauer Hale.

Joyce had worked for the former Fulton IGA and Jet Lanes Bowling and Tan in Fulton. She lived all of her life in this area.

She is survived by three sisters: Brenda (Terry) Pulley of Fulton, KY, Sandra Bolin of Orlando, FL and Rona Butts of Paducah, KY and a brother, Jerry (Peggy) Hale of South Fulton, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Henry "Smitty" Smith.

There will be no services held at the funeral home. Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton is in charge of arrangements.
