KY 94 has Water Over Road signs posted at the 7 to 11mm in the Lower Bottom Dip Area between KY 311 and KY 1099

KY 94 has Water Over Road signs posted at the 23-26mm in Willingham Bottom between KY 1907 and KY 1125

KY 1907/Swamp Rood Rd has Water Over Road signs posted between KY 94 and KY 781

Hickman County

KY 780 has Water Over Road signs posted at the 2 to 3mm on both sides of the RR Crossing

KY 80 has Water Over Road signs posted at the 2 to 3mm northeast of Columbus at the Hickman-Carlisle County Line

Report for District 1

Update at 9:30 a.m., CST, for Fulton County

PADUCAH, Ky. (Jan. 3, 2023) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 1 Crews responded to reports of water over highways at various locations following heavy rainfall across the region overnight.

Many locations have "Road May Flood" signs permanently posted. Crews will be adding more specific temporary signage as reports come in.

At this hour, we have the following report:

Calloway County

KY 783/Crossland Rd has Water Over Road signs posted at the 4.25mm south of the Wiswell community near Jackson Creek and Middle Fork Clarks River

Carlisle County

KY 1628 is closed between the 2 and 4mm

KY 1820 is closed between the 1 and 2mm

U.S. 62 is closed at the 3 to 4mm in West Fork Creek Bottoms between Bardwell and the KY 121 4-Way Stop

Fulton County

U.S. 68 is open at the 25.5mm in Aurora at the site of an overnight structure fire near the Union Ridge Road Intersection

Trigg County

KY 1507/Barefield Rd at the 1mm between KY 958/Montgomery Rd and KY 128/Wallonia Road

Trigg County reports a lot of debris washed onto roadways - especially along rural secondary highways. The crew will be using snow plows to clear debris from some of these routes around the county over the next few hours. It is likely additional crews will be doing the same.

Crews will be back out making rounds of some of these locations after daylight. We anticipate additional updates over the next hour or two.

While water may be dropping at some locations, it is rising at others. Remember, Turn Around - Don't Drown.
