SOUTH FULTON FIRE DEPARTMENT BENEFITS FROM USDA GRANT FUNDS

As the result of being the recipient of recent USDA grant funding, the South Fulton Fire Department was able to purchase new equipment. Nine new Scott G5 SCBA’s and masks, along with 18 new air bottles were purchased to replace aging breathing apparatus worn by firefighters in hazardous conditions. Along with the new SCBA’s, SFFD was able to purchase 10 new portable radios that will allow for better communications among firefighters.
