Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "Remembrance March" held in Hickman

Pastors and local church congregations gathered at New Bryant’s Chapel Church on Atwood Street in Hickman to begin the annual “Remembrance March” in memory of the late Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Jan. 20. Those brave enough to weather the cold temperatures marched from the church to Valley Road, and then onto South Seventh Street to Thomas Chapel C.M.E. Church. (Photos by Barbara Atwill)
