CUPS, AND EMPTY BOWLS, RUNNETH OVER
March 10, 2020
Ken-Tenn Foodbank volunteer Ginger Bard was “very pleased” with this year’s Empty Bowls event March 5, estimating 175-200 people who dined on a variety of soups, breads and desserts at Fulton’s Pontotoc community center. Tickets were sold in advance and at the door this year, with $4,530 raised for the foodbank. Funds will be used to purchase food items such as frozen meats and produce, assist with service to South Fulton residents, and could help purchase a new freezer. (Photos by Benita Fuzzell.)
A healthy Fulton County requires great community news.
