Fulton County’s Back to School Bash

NEEDED SCHOOL SUPPLIES – The young Fulton County student and his parents visited the First Church of God booth at the Fulton County School’s Back to School Bash Aug. 9 at Fulton County Elementary. Several booths with school supplies, candy, and information were available for students attending the event. Hot dogs, chips and water were also available. The event was originally scheduled to be held at the Jeff Green Memorial Park, however was moved to the school because of inclement weather. Two blow-ups were set up in the Fulton County Middle School Gymnasium for the students to enjoy also.

PASSING OUT SCHOOL SUPPLIES – Hickman Rotary Club participated in Fulton County’s Back to School Bash Aug. 9, held at Fulton County Elementary School. Hickman Rotarians Betty Abernathy and Pete Morgan manned the booth and gave two items of school supplies to students attending the event. Several churches, doctor’s office, cheerleaders, Purchase District Health Department, Baptist Health, Fulton County Transit Authority, Hickman Housing Authority, and others helped to make the event a success.

A healthy Fulton County requires great community news.
