The Twin Cities of Fulton, Ky. and South Fulton, Tenn. ushered in the Christmas season with their annual Christmas in the Parks event Dec. 3, this year, featuring the addition of a Christmas Lights Parade. Following the parade, Santa himself lit the community Christmas Tree in Pontotoc Park, as hot chocolate and cookies were served by the South Fulton Parks and Recreation Board; s'mores were provided by the Twin Cities Chamber of Commerce; and the Fulton Parks Board provided children the opportunity to craft an ornament to take home. Pastor Jessie Webb led a children's choir with Christmas selections and the Twin Cities Men's Organization staged their annual chili supper fundraiser. Earlier in the day, the Kiwanis Club of the Twin Cities coordinated a Christmas craft fair fundraiser in the Willingham Center. The Fulton Tourism Commission facilitated the parade as well as a fireworks display. Float Winners for the Fulton Tourism Christmas Parade included, First Place, Hornbeak Funeral Home and Second Place, Jackson Purchase Distillery for their float entries.
