South Fulton High School Boys’ Basketball Awards Banquet was held April 19 in the school cafeteria, to recognize team achievements for the 2023-2024 basketball season.

Boys Basketball Coach Pete Angelos, and Assistant Coach Jason Rodehaver presented individual team member awards for the night.

Coach Angelos first introduced team members, freshmen Logan Copeland, Trevor Stunson, Gavin Dixon, Shelton Johnson, Carson Choate; sophomores, Braden Gore, Jayden Wilder, Clark Rice, Charles Michael Mulcahy; juniors Alijah Ingram, Cole Suiter, Brady McFarland, Dane Cirkles, Connor O’Neal; and seniors Jackson Barnes and Samuel Angelos; and Manager Adon Rushing.

Brady McFarland, Dane Cirkles and Charles Michael Mulcahy were recognized for achieving a position on the All District Team, and McFarland was recognized as making his 1000th point in his high school basketball career.

McFarland also was presented with the Best Offensive player award, averaging 23 points per game, Best Free Throw percentage, and MVP.

The Mr. Hustle Award was presented to Clark Rice and Charles Michael Mulcahy, with Mulcahy also receiving the Best Rebounder award and Best Field Goal percentage award.

Connor O’Neal received the Most Charges Taken Award, Jayden Wilder received the Most Improved Award, and Samuel Angelos received the Red Devil Award.

Jackson Barnes received the Best Field Goal Percentage Award, and the Red Devil Award.

Dane Cirkles received the “Good Hands” Award, for most assists, the Best Defender Award, and the “Stocks” Award, for the most steals/blocks combined.
