AREA OBITUARIES -- JOELLA PARROTT

Mrs. Joella Parrott, age 92, of South Fulton, Tenn. passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at The Arbors in Union City, Tenn.

She was born on May 8, 1931 in Troy, Tenn. to the late Felix Lester "F.L" Cochran and Mary Ellen Bumpus Cochran.

Joella was a member of the South Fulton First United Methodist Church and was a retired Vice President for the former Fulton Bank and Reelfoot Bank. She was also a member of the Fulton - South Fulton Rotary Club and a member of the Order of Eastern Star.

She is survived by two sons: Robert L. Parrott and Greg Parrott both of South Fulton, Tenn., two grandchildren:

Johnny Parrott of St. Louis, Mo. and James Parrott of South Fulton, Tenn., two great-grandchildren: Adrieanna

Parrott of Cayce, Ky. and Adrian Parrott of St. Louis, Mo., two great-great-grandchildren, Leo Whitten, TK Warlick

and two sisters: Ouida Osborne and Lois Sullivan both of Union City, Tenn.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Robert G. Parrott.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2024 in the Hornbeak Funeral Home funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Obion County Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, until the hour of service. Hornbeak Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
