Elliott DAR Good Citizen

Jelynda Elliott has been chosen as the DAR Good Citizen for Fulton County High School.

Elliott is the daughter of Dell and Jennifer Elliott of Cayce, and a Senior at FCHS.

The DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship contest was created in 1934 and intended to encourage and reward the qualities of good citizenship.

Individuals are recognized rewarded for the qualities of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism in their homes, schools, and communities.

Students are selected by teachers and peers for the demonstration of these qualities to an outstanding degree.

The program is for high school seniors whose school is accredited by their state board of education and only one student per year may be honored as a school’s DAR Good Citizen.
