Fulton Police Department officers responded to the Fulton Walmart June 28, following a request to investigate two subjects who had been observed by the store employees shoplifting.

According to the police report from FPD, prior to the officers' arrival to the store, an attempt had been made by employees to stop the subjects as they attempted to exit the store, and during that attempt, one of the subjects knocked money from the hands of a customer and fled the store, with the money.

The customer then chased after the two suspects in an attempt to retrieve the money, and was struck by the suspects' vehicle as it was leaving the parking lot, knocking the customer to the ground, resulting in minor injuries.

The two subjects in the vehicle lead law enforcement officers on a high speed pursuit through Fulton, Hickman, Graves and Weakley Counties, ultimately one suspect fleeing on foot.

Police were able to apprehend and identify one subject, Brandy Arnett of Mayfield, who was charged with one count of Robbery, 1st Degree.

The second subject, Anthony Travis of Dukedom, Tenn., was charged with Robbery, 1st degree, as a result of the incident at Walmart, with active warrants in force in Graves County, with more charges pending.

Those with information as to the whereabouts of Travis are asked to contact Fulton Police Department at 270-236-0701 of any law enforcement agency.
