Fulton Co. Sheriff Woods passes away

After suffering a stroke a little over a week ago, Fulton County Sheriff Robby Woods died July 2. He was 50 years old.

Woods was appointed to fill the vacated Sheriff's post following the death of the late Sheriff Bobby Hopper. He was also the recipient of the largest number of votes in the county's Primary Election May 22, in the Sheriff's race, with 654 votes.
