Fulton County Preschool accepting registrations

Fulton County’s Preschool/Early Head Start/Head Start registration is being held for children ages three or four on or before Aug. 1.

With schools being closed, there will be no “face-to-face” registration this year.

If you would like to register your child for the 2020-21 school year, call the Preschool office at 270-236-3923, Ext. 5007. The application will be mailed to you or you can stop by the Fulton County Board of Education to pick up an application packet.

A copy of the following information will be required: child’s certified birth certificate; proof of income (2019 tax return, W-2, proof of child support, SSI/Social Security, K-TAP, Student Financial Aid); child’s Social Security card; medical card, K-CHIP or insurance card; and custody papers (if applicable).

You may bring the forms to the Board office and they will make a copy for you.

Free transportation services will be provided to and from school for preschoolers. The buses will pick up and drop off in town and in the county. Head Start staff will assist families in understanding and accessing transportation options in order to participate in Head Start activities.
