‘Virtual’ graduation, Honors Night awaits FIS Class of ‘20

The Fulton High School Class of 2020 will participate in a “virtual” graduation ceremony, as well as an honors night event, this week.

On Friday evening May 29 at 7 p.m., the public will be provided with access to view the graduation ceremony, through the Fulton Independent Schools’ Facebook page, as well as the school website.

Brandon Tyler Rushing, son of Nicky and Jenny Rushing will deliver his Valedictory address, and Sherrel Walker, daughter of Kimberly and Robert Walker, the class Salutatorian, will also address her classmates and guests.

Zoie Paige Brown, daughter of Frankie Brown and granddaughter of Jessica Brown will be Honors Night Speaker, for the virtual honors night event Thursday evening May 28 at 7 p.m., also accessible to the public via the Facebook page and website.

Rushing, Walker and Brown are all Honor Graduates.

Other graduates to receive diplomas in the Fulton High School Class of 2020 include Navaeh Beanland, Arhmond Chandler, Autumn Leighann Colbroth, Jakiran Rae Shawn Donnald, Drake Christopher Haley, Hunter Hayes, Saracathryn Hedgepath, Jamela Jones, Deontae King, Cameron Madding, Katlynn McKall Mathias, Nolan McKnight, De’Andre F. Patton, Jasmine Janae Reeves, “Scotty” Devaris Scott, Brennen Walker and Zion Yisrael.
