Foodbank Dates

The Ken-Tenn Foodbank, 211 Carr St., Fulton, will distribute commodities to South Fulton, Tenn. qualifying residents of the 1 for 84 program Aug. 7 from 9 - 11 a.m. Distribution to Fulton County Seniors, CSFP, living in poverty, will be held Aug. 20 from 9 - 11 a.m. Distribution to Fulton County households living in poverty, TEFAP, will be Aug. 27 from 9 – 11 a.m. To be qualified, you must earn less than $1,968 per month.

Decoration Day

The annual Dobson Cemetery meeting and decoration day will be held Aug. 14 at 2 p.m. The cemetery is located on the Cuba/Water Valley Road, Hwy. 2422 in Graves County. Donations may be mailed to Gail Dobson, 918 St. Rt. 1390, Mayfield, Ky. 42066. For more information, call 270-832-6651.

Ice Cream Supper

Jackson Chapel Church, located near Fulgham, will host an Ice Cream Supper Aug. 14, from 5:30 - 7 p.m., at the church. Corndogs, hamburgers, cakes, pie, and homemade ice cream will be served. The public is invited to attend.

Donations Requested

Enon Cemetery, located at the intersection of Highways 307 and 94 in Hickman County, needs donations for mowing expenses. To contribute, send a donation in care of Catherine Foy, 1200 Brookwood Circle, Fulton, Ky. 42041.

Board of Health Meeting

The Fulton County Board of Health will meet July 30, at 7 a.m., at the Fulton City Health Department.

Senior Book Club

Senior Book Club meets the fourth Monday of each month at Fulton Public Library, Main Street in Fulton, at 1 p.m. Books are provided to seniors age 55 and older, to read and discuss at the following month’s meeting.

FUMC Celebrate Recovery

The First United Methodist Church, 200 Carr St., Fulton, hosts Celebrate Recovery each Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. Dinner is served, worship and small groups are available.
