AREA OBITUARIES -- J.C. MULCAHY II

J.C. Mulcahy II, age 22 of Water Valley, Ky. passed away on May 10, 2022 at Baptist Health of Paducah.

He was born on November 26, 1999 in Fulton, Ky. to J.C. and Carla (Collier) Mulcahy.

J.C. was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Clinton, Ky. where he served as a Youth Leader. He was a welder for Ingram Barge Line in Columbus, Ky. and was a graduate of Hickman County High School- class of 2018. He had lived in this area all of his life.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife Cheyenne (Basch) Mulcahy of Water Valley, whom he married September 12, 2020, two sisters Megan (Chris) Everhart and niece Amelia Everhart all of Louisville, Ky., Emily (Tyler) Kirby of Fulton, Ky., his grandmother Frances Mulcahy of Water Valley, his in-laws Michael Basch of Clinton, and Heather Rettig (Gayle) of Clinton, two brothers-in-law Dante Basch of Fulton, and Trey Rettig of Clinton, a sister-in-law Bayleigh Basch of Clinton.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Charles T. Mulcahy and his maternal grandparents Esba Collier, Jr. and Pearlie Collier.

Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, May 15, 2022 in the Hornbeak Funeral Home of Fulton's funeral chapel with burial to follow in the Pleasant View Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 11 am Sunday until the funeral hour.
