Solidarity, shooting Lady Falcons’ assets

Hickman County Lady Falcons will start their 2018-19 season Nov. 27 at home against Lake County.

Coach Shayne Midyett projects his starters for the upcoming season to include a 6’ 4” Junior Leigh Ann Jones, Kadey Wilkey, Alexis Bartolo, Akacia Taylor, and Rancey Skaggs.

Midyett says the team’s greatest asset is that they are solid fundamentally. Midyett anticipates stronger shooting than the team demonstrated last year.

The greatest challenge the Lady Falcons will face this season is a lack of experienced depth. Midyett expects as the season progresses the team will improve in that area.

Midyett’s goals for the Lady Falcons during the 2018-19 season are to compete for the All A Classic Regional Championship and to compete for the District Championship. Midyett says that he wants his players to get better every day and to learn what it means to be a part of a team.
