SHELLEY RAYE WILLIAMS

Shelley Raye Williams, a resident of Milan, Tenn., and formerly of this area, died Sept. 18 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah. She was 52.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sept. 21 at the South Fulton Baptist Church, with Dr. Ron Cox and Rev. Ernest Phillips officiating. Burial followed in the Water Valley Cemetery. Visitation was held at the South Fulton Baptist Church from 11 a.m. until the hour of service. Hornbeak Funeral Chapel, in Fulton, was in charge of arrangements.

She is survived by her mother, Terry Florez Phillips, of Benton; her step-father David Phillips, of Benton; her husband, Bart Williams, whom she married Sept. 30, 1983; her daughter, Brandy (Steven) Wright, of South Fulton; four grandchildren, Moses McKnight, Josh McKnight, Allie Wright and Aiden Wright, all of South Fulton; a sister, Tessie McCoy of Clarksville, Tenn.; and two brothers; Joey Tynes, of Mayfield, and Ronnie (Jennifer) Tynes, of Hendersonville, Tenn.

Born Oct. 14, 1966 in Hickman County, she was a long time Licensed Practical Nurse at the Fulton Nursing and Rehab in Fulton, which is the former Haws Nursing Home. She was a 1984 South Fulton High School graduate and lived in this area most of her life.
