South Fulton High School Class of 2021 to receive diplomas this Friday

The South Fulton High School Class of 2021 will be the first of local seniors to graduate, as commencement is scheduled for Friday, May 21, beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the SFHS gymnasium.

All seniors have been provided with a specified number of tickets, for family and friends, with no one admitted into the gym without a ticket, according to Kimberly Jackson, SFMS/HS Principal.

Leading and addressing the class as Valedictorian will be Brian Andrew Barclay, son of Dave and Amy Barclay.

The Salutatorian’s address will be delivered by Jacob Andrew Lilly, son of Susan Joyner, Danny Joyner and Nathan Lilly.

Obion County Challenge Graduates in the Class of 2021 are Barclay, Lilly, Beau Britt, Claudia Colston, Halle Gore, John Grant McConnell, Bryce McFarland, Jonathan Morris, Lukas Moss, Garrett Slaughter, Kelli Swift and Jhems Wallace.

Academic Top 10 rankings for the Class of 2021, other than numbers one and two, were not scheduled to be announced until Class Night May 20, and not available by press time for this week’s print edition.
