Hickman Commissioners vote to hire City Manager

Hickman City Commissioners James Adams, Robert Griggs, and Judy Powell, and Mayor Heath Carlton met in a special called meeting for discussion with Harshaw Trane Representatives on the contract with the City and Executive Session for personnel, City Manager vacancy, pursuant to KRS 61.810(1)(f).

Following Executive Session, the Commissioners voted to hire Larry Myatt as City Manager, on the recommendation of Interim City Manager Cubb Stokes.

Myatt was reportedly out of town and would not be back until the beginning of next week.

He is a former Hickman City Manager and long-time resident of Hickman.
