Fulton Railroaders end season with record of 16-25

The Fulton Railroaders hosted the Hopkinsville Hoppers July 17.

The Railroaders took the lead late in the game after being down by nine runs going into the bottom of the second inning. The Railroaders scored battled back in the eighth inning when Jack Gallagher doubled and scored two runs to bring the score 13-12.

Sam Stohr earned the pitching win as he pitched one and one third innings giving up no runs and striking out one. Conner Brandon was awarded the save as he pitched one inning and allowed one run to score off one hit and struck out one.

The final regular season game ended in a 8-7 loss for the Railroaders as they were on the road at Henderson competing against the Henderson Flash.

The Railroaders finished the regular season in third place in their division and a 16 - 23 record.

Postseason play started for the Railroaders July 20 as they traveled to Paducah, as the Railroaders lost the first game 3-19.

The Railroaders then hosted the Paducah Chiefs July 21 as the Railroaders season came to an end with a 9-2 loss.

The final record for the Railroaders season was 16 and 25.
