Contribution to Community Meal

Steve Fly, right, recently accepted a contribution of $1,000 from Fulton Walmart Assistant Manager Thomas Elam, to go toward funding the annual Twin Cities Community Thanksgiving Meal, set for Nov. 22 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Fulton’s First United Methodist Church. Fly, who has volunteered to assist in carrying out the meal for several years, said numerous local churches share in the planning, serving, cooking and delivery of the full traditional Thanksgiving menu offered free of charge to all members of the community.
